We had one that our friends threw as a surprise. We are going to have a dinner but my FH is Indian and they usually have an engagement ceremony (his bro spent 5000 and had 230 guests to his!). We are just having close family and friends at a o local restaurant.
My friends in NJ had a caual party at home with deli food and requested no gifts (we gave them a little one anyway).

I didn't have one. My FMIL envisioned something completely different than I wanted so I bagged the whole idea.

We had one in march and our wedding is in December. It was a pretty big party, about 150 guests. Crazy time was had by all!!! ![]()

I HAD ONE AT THE SWAN CLUB. IT WAS SO MUCJ FUN. YOU REALLY SHOULD HAVE ONE. IT WAS LIKE A WEDDING, WITH COCKTAIL HOUR, ETC. EVERYONE LOVED IT. LOOK AT MY PROFILE PIC. THATS WHAT I WORE.

We didn't have one. Everything has been going towards the wedding. We did get some engagement gifts tho! ![]()

We just had ours last weekend. It was so much fun getting our families and friends together. I was aganist it at first but I loved it. We really had a great time. Totally worth it if you decide it's for you .

We had two- one at FH's parents house and one at my Aunt's house (FH is from upstate and we did not want to make either family travel). It was so much!

I really didn't want one, but since we were moving to Los Angeles and wouldn't see most people until the wedding, we decided to have one.
It was essentially a four hour cocktail hour.

I jsut had one this past Sat and it was great. We had it in my parents backyard. It was wonderful. We celebrated with all our friends and family. We had a DJ and food it was great.

We had one exactly 1 year before our wedding date. It was in my parents backyard and we had friends and family, about 75 people total. It was good practice for the big day. I was so stressed out planning the e-party, can you imagine the actual wedding!!! ![]()

We had one last month in my backyard... It was soooo HOT but we all had a great time. Everyone was in the pool and we played baci ball.. it was very casual. Both families got to chat. We had about 45-50 people there. It was just immediate relatives and close friends. All the people there would have given us a gift anyway so we didn't feel like we were asking for another gift from people.

We had a backyard GTG for the two families to meet a few weeks ago. My mom totally outdid herself with food! No decorations or friends, but it was a really great time, and because it was small everyone got to sit and talk with one another. It was really nice.

We had one in April. We had so much fun. We had about 90 people, family and close friends. It was one of the best nights of my life. Everyone just had a great time.......![]()
