I cannot decide between CLM and VYC - Where is the food better? I have never been a guest at either of these places..
I agree that every bride on here that got married at the CLM has had nothing but raves about the food. I really think that the event I went to was not catered to the same level. I wasn't trying to start anything but I just wanted to let the original poster know about my experience..
Even though FH and I chose CLM, we did go to the VYC and had a tasting at both. The food was great at both places but CLM just gave you more for your buck and the ppl are more personable. I think the over feel of CLM is what sold us in the end.
honestly.. I have been to a few weddings where the food was just terrible.. and it *****.. because the bride and groom are paying a lot for you to be there.. and it also ***** to have to go home at midnight and eat then. But what can you do? I know I'm a picky eater.. but honestly.. I thought the food at Crest Hollow was good.. I went to a wedding a few months ago at Brentwood CC and it was really not even edible.. EVERYONE at my table (some were total strangers) commented on how they couldn't eat it. I am hoping that the food is better at my wedding.. I don't want people going home famished..
Can you go to a tasting at both???? ONLY you can decide this IMO...everyone has different tastes and experiences
I've heard good and bad things about both places...just like every other wedding hall (including my own) on LI! The best thing to do is go there yourself with your family and decide which you like best. No one here can tell you.
