Who has off tomorrow?

Original post by laural2979

I thought that everyone had off for Veterans' Day, but I found out that a bunch of my friends have to work.

I'm taking advantage of the long weekend and taking a trip back to Long Island. I have my tasting at the Venetian on Saturday and we're going to try to book limos and find a tiara. Hopefully I'll be really productive.

I am off. But not because my job gives it off. I just took the day off because I have alot of vacation time I need to use before the year is over.

I wish i had off but Veteran's Day is Nov. 11th every year so when its during the week, i'm off - this year the 11th is a Saturday,

JMO - I dont think its a lack of respect - no reason to close schools when veteran's day is the 11th

as an asst. principal myself i do like it when it falls out on a weekday
