already asked their bridal party? Did you ask the same time as FH asked his guys?
I'm DEF asking 2 of them asap, the rest i wasn't planning on it but i'm antsy. lol. I also know A LOT of people said wait since my wedding is a year and a half away cuz u never know what can happen b/t people. The 2 i'm asking now i've known since 2nd gr and kindergarden so even if they wanted to they aren't going anywhere lol.

my sister is my MOH & i asked her the week after we got engaged. my other 3 bridesmaids r my cousins & i would never have second thoughts about asking them. i asked them in december 2008.
FH has not asked his best man or groomsmen yet. he has 5 very close friends. he has told them they will be groomsmen but will not be officially picking his best man until closer to the wedding. he is not sure who he wants to pick yet

im waiting for the same reasons.. right now my bridal party just girls would be about 12 people. i really want to get it down to 10.. lol. i know its crazy but my fiance would have half that so not tooo bad. i was goin to wait til summer at least.. u never know what could happen in a couple months.. :)

I already asked all of mine...i hadnt thought about things happening but 3 I have been friends with since 8th grade and the other is my really good friend from work.
FH asked his gm around the same time i asked my bms

I asked my MOH the day after I got engaged, but only because we happen to already have plans to see each other. I'm waiting to ask my 2 other girls when we are in person.
FH has not asked anyone yet and probably will not for a while. He really hit it off with a friend of mine out here and I think he wants to see how their friendship goes once he moves here before he makes any concrete BM/GM decisions.

i had to ask mine first because we were contemplating how many to have on each side cuz i wasnt sure if some girls would agree cuz of financial issues.
i asked most of mine. have 2 left. i waited becaues i wanted to give a card.
fh only asked his brother (best man) this weekend. i wasnt there. but he got it on video and i cant wait to see it. he did something really corny (i can b a big cornball, so i crack up at stuff like that. lol)

I asked my girls pretty much as soon as I got engaged. My sisters and FH's sister obviously knew already without needing to ask, and my best friend pretty much knew. Another friend I asked the week after I got engaged b/c she lives in California and she was in town and I wanted to do it in person. My other two friends I asked a few weeks later. I have one more girlfriend to ask, but she lives in Connecticut and we haven't had a chance to get together yet.
FH asked his GM's at our e-party.

I did.. 6 are cousins, 1 is my sister and the other is my best friend so there were no surprises. I want to get them something and will probably give it to them at the year mark.
FH is waiting to ask his groomsmen I don't know why bc they all expect it...

Well both my sisters are going to be MOH so I already asked them. I also asked my BF to be a BM but I still have 2 more I will be asking at our Eparty.
As FH he hasn't asked anyone yet he is still trying to figure out some things.

Most of my girls have already assumed that they will be in the wedding party. I have one more that I'm on the fence about, so I haven't 'officially' asked anyone yet. I am still trying to figure out how to ask them and not look like the big cheese ball that I am!

We've asked them all... We feel confident everyone we asked will still be close to us at the time of the wedding....
PS i hate hearing 'its a year and a half away....' it annoys the h*ll out of me! ughh
