I felt that we should be with everyone especially because there will be a lot of OOT's (family) that I havent seen in a long time and I dont want to spend the reception going from table to table.

oh yeah!!! About 20 minutes late though cuz we'll be on a boat ride in transit to the cocktail hour. I hope we can mill about long enough for me to get that out of the way so we can really just have fun at the reception. Have a feeling we won't though- it's not long enough and we'll probably need to take family pics.

definitely!! we're starting pictures 2 hours early just so we can be at the cocktail hour. i also dont want to spend my reception greeting people and i want to eat the awesome food at westbury manor!

we are! we have a lot of oot guests and we'll never eat at the reception if we don't join the CH. Plus the food is going to be great!

I would like to attend cocktail hour but this is something i would def ask married brides about - ive heard from 2 different friends who said they were bombarded at cocktail hour and they ended up just staying with the bridal party... i am def gonna attempt to go

We are attending as well - that is where we want to meet and greet most of the guests so we can enjoy the wedding as well!

We will be there! Greet people as they come into the reception. That way you get to see everyone and don't waste time going table to table.

We did and it was the best decision we made.
We did not go for the food, we mostly went to greet our guests so during the reception we did not have to worry about it.

Most definitely!! I would miss a Lombardi's cocktail hour for anything Plus you put so much time and money into planning your wedding why miss any of it, right Can't wait it'll be here before we know it!!

Originally we were not going to attend the cocktail hour but we were so hungry and the weather was so nice out - we had our cocktail hour outside on the terrace. It was the best decision we could have made.
