I felt that we should be with everyone especially because there will be a lot of OOT's (family) that I havent seen in a long time and I dont want to spend the reception going from table to table.

W are taking the bulk of our pics in the mornign before the ceremony aand before my face and my BM's face smelt off in the heat so we can spend the bulk of the cocktail hour with our friends and family.

We're attending ours - we're inviting 230, and I don't want to spend the whole reception greeting people so we're doing the receiving line and attending the cocktail hour. Hopefully we'll get there a little early so we can greet people as they come in.

Definitely, FH would not have had it any other way. We are actually taking pics before the ceremony so that we wouldn't miss it.

we are gong to ours as well. i want to mignle with everyone then so at the reception i a free to dance.plus we are paying for it why not be there for it.

FH & I are planning on attending most of our cocktail hour. We figured this way we chat with guests during the cocktail hour and then enjoy the reception.

We plan to. Our church ceremony is at 3 and cocktail hour is at 7 so we should definitely be able to make it. We joke that we want to see our hard earned money at work...especially the jazz trio we splurged on.

We went to our CH and it was the best thing. We got to say hello to everyone and had tons of time to enjoy our reception. We still went around to each table though - but we didn't have to spend much time at each one b/c we saw every one already.

i'm iffy about this one. i want to but i don't want to. i want our entrance to be the official first time as mr and mrs but at the same time cocktail hour is so much fun!

We are definitely planning on attending ours! We have a break between the church and reception, so we *should* be able to take all our pictures in between.
I want to dance and enjoy my reception, so I'd rather greet everyone that I can at the cocktail hour.
At first we were not, but now it only makes sense to attend! For all the same reasons listed above!!

We went to the ch for the fist 1/2 hour and said hello (this helped during the reception) then we went back to the bridal suite and spend some time together. My bridal attendant brought us back a bit of all the food. It was yummy!
