Who is attending their Cocktail Hour?

We are attending our cocktail hour.

I felt that we should be with everyone especially because there will be a lot of OOT's (family) that I havent seen in a long time and I dont want to spend the reception going from table to table.

would your rather go at the beginning half or the end half of the cocktail hour??

i also like the thought of everyone seeing us for the first time coming into the reception but i also dont want to miss CH... maybe if we come for the first half then leave for the last half so that everyone doesnt see us for a little while then sees our entrance later...?

totally agree...The reception is my let loose and look at all the $$$$ I have spent and enjoy it!!!!!

not sure that i want to see people at cocktail hour until the reception, but who knows that can change!

we are!! i warned my photographer that he is only allowed to take posed pics before the ceremony - we want to enjoy our whole wedding!!!

i'm iffy about this one. i want to but i don't want to. i want our entrance to be the official first time as mr and mrs but at the same time cocktail hour is so much fun!

Without a doubt we'll be there. We'll be late b/c hopefully the weather will be nice and we'll be arriving on the yacht. My MOH didn't attend her CH and spent more than half her reception going around to everyone. We figured we'd bang out as many thank yous as we could at the CH so we can enjoy our reception more!

Not me!!!! Even if you see some people during cocktail hour, you will still have to go to each table because chances are there will be someone at the table that you missed at cocktail hour!

We added an extra 1/2 hour so we would be able to attend.

We are!!! And FH is set on it, he feels since we are paying for it we have the right to enjoy it too! we are taking pictures before the ceremony though since we are getting married at the hall.

We are! ALL pictures to be taken before the ceremony, already warned parents to tell relatives to be on time for pictures or they wont have one (my relatives are notorious for being late) b/c once ceremony's over Im not going to be pulled out of the wedding, hope the threat works
