who is hosting your RD?

So i know it's traditionally the grooms parents but in our case, the Groom's family is all from OOT and we are doing a welcome party/RD...so my parent's are hosting......I dont think my FH's parents even know about this tradition...

just curious who's hosting your RD?

My FIL's said in the beginning that they would contribute, but has not said anything since.
I am hoping they say something soon.
My parents contributed a generous amount from the get go, and continue to offer if I need. His parents know this too. I know it's tradition, but we're freaking 35 and 42!!! We are paying mostly for everything too.

Yeah...if it weren't for the gluten thing, FMIL would be hosting and would be cutting corners and trying to do it as cheaply as possible. I'm kind of glad she isn't (aside from the whole gluten thing).....
