Here's an alternative to camera's on the table that I was thinking about too. A lot of people will be taking their own pictures, so you can give them a blank disc to save their pictures to and send them to you.
I love this idea -------- i think im going to mix it up with the scavenger hunt idea YAY!

ohhhh thats a great idea!!! love this! and its probably cheaper too- even if you put a stamp on the envelope! Another thought is that you could put cards out with an email address for them to send the pictures to also.
Ooh I saved that too.. hold on, let me post a pic of that too. I forgot about that
Re: who is putting disposable cameras on the table?
I am not doing this but I have seen children/young adults get a hold of the camera and take dumb/weird pictures.
Maybe a CD would be better since so many people have digitals cameras.

Yeah. I'm going to do it DIY. I'm making my own invites as well, so i'm thinking I'll order extra cardstock so everything matches. I'm not sure where to get the envelopes though

Oooh just thought of another idea. I just did a search and found these cardboard ones. You can put the CD in the sleeve and on the inside put the scavenger hunt list.
Re: who is putting disposable cameras on the table?
Very good Ideas b/c I was concerned about the cameras missing at the end of the night or 'dumb' pics being taken but I think if I do the scavenger hunt it might not be so bad. hhmmmm

& what would you do put one by each setting? or put like 5 or 6 per table (meaning 1 per couple)
What do you think?

I was just thinking that!! Because even if every COUPLE bring a camera, thats one per couple. But then again not everyone is going to bring a camera. I was thinking of just putting them on the table, but then how do you make that look nice? Hmm
Okay I'm thinking, my tables are oblong. If i do the cardboard ones, Maybe put three on each side of the centerpiece and fan them out I want it to look presentable too.. I think it would look nice at each setting but I think thats too much and it'll most likely be wasted.

I know my tables are oblong also (10-12 ppl) so thats probably the best idea - to put three and three ----- and i mean maybe some ppl wont want to do it- or so that will be like every other setting ---- that way it will look like one cardboard is for 2 ppl you know what i mean?

Re: who is putting disposable cameras on the table?
Yeah, I would put half the number of people, or atleast even numbers so it looks presentable. For example if you 10 (half is 5), but i would still put 6.. Hmm.. okay given they fit 10-12, i guess i would put 6 regardless on the table. I know what you mean though I think thats the best possible way to do it.

We are doing one for each table with a little note.

We tossed the idea around, ( I really like the ones with the rhinestones on them), but we will have the photographer there the whole night, so it really would be an unnecessary expense for us to add that.

i have to admit - my fh is the one who'll bring the camera in the bathroom and take pics of the urnials.
But i think with all the money spent on the cameras - you'll probably end up with 30% good pictures - you have to decide if thats worth it or not.

Re: who is putting disposable cameras on the table?
My FMIL wanted to do cameras on the tables so SHE bought them.... I have no problem with that... LOL 2 on each table... But I like the email idea as well.. So I think I will put a little sign on the table for the email thing... That way Im hopefully guaranteed pictures from someone!
