i was thinking about putting 2 at each table. (10-12 ppl per table) or should i put one?
anyone doing this ???? whats the best price you got? i see $3.95 on theknot today- sounds good to me...
Also - are you leaving a little note on it... Like oh help us remember our day or our memories.... but to put also something to leave the camera at the end of the party
Any ideas?

Re: who is putting disposable cameras on the table?
we are doing the CDs well. i bought these mailers online at supermediastore. They have a self adhesive closure on it so its easy for guests to send it back to you when done. I'm self addressing and stamping them (using machine at work haha).

Those are nice too! Thanks for posting. How much would you figure postage to be?

IDK. the weight of the carboard envelope plus the cd. I would think it may be a lil more. But then again I have no clue about postage weight.

I am not and I'll tell you why. Most of my friends have done this for their weddings and said when they developed all the film, it was a waste of time and money. Most of the pictures were out of focus, or without a flash so you didn't see anything or of really stupid things, like someone's shoe or the floor. They said not to bother becuase it was a waste of money and that plenty of people will send you good pics that they've taken from their real cameras.
I feel the same way. We are not doing them. We might do a card with a website where they can send their pics so everyone can view them.

Great ideas! I am going to put one camera on each table, but now I think I'll also have people email pictures from the digital cameras!!

I would assume the Rh does it. I would call them and double check. Then when you meet with them, discuss how you want things arranged on the tables.

Re: who is putting disposable cameras on the table?
sorry to butt in so far into this post but as i was reading this (i planned on doing disposable cameras until just this moment)--i remembered that at one point i read somewhere on here about a website you can make that guests can upload their photos to. it's on shutterfly at http://www.shutterfly.com/learn/collections.jsp. it looks like a good idea and would save money on cds and postage!

Re: who is putting disposable cameras on the table?
That is a good idea. But i'd hate to keep going back and forth with online and saving them to my computer. Personally, i would prefer them on CD. we'll see how our budget works out closer to the date. Maybe i'll switch to that or e-mailing

Re: who is putting disposable cameras on the table?
I had them on my tables at my shower and got the SAME pictures from every camera I was so bummed that people were so uncreative! If you do it...I would DEFINATLY leave a note and ask people to take pictures of each other rather than you and your hubby. Your photographer will take enough pics of you guys all day...I miss the fact that I don't have any pictures of my guests now!!!

Re: who is putting disposable cameras on the table?
we are putting 1 camera at each table with hunt directions (to cut down on the # of 'nothing' pictures, i.e. someone's thumb or something, you give a list of pics for them to find.) and then we are putting a cards with shutterfly information for digital camera guests to email us their shots too.
