i was thinking about putting 2 at each table. (10-12 ppl per table) or should i put one?
anyone doing this ???? whats the best price you got? i see $3.95 on theknot today- sounds good to me...
Also - are you leaving a little note on it... Like oh help us remember our day or our memories.... but to put also something to leave the camera at the end of the party
Any ideas?

Re: who is putting disposable cameras on the table?
I am putting one per table (10 people per table). I bought mine from the wedding channel website, I think I paid about the same price and they come with a note telling your guests to take pictures, etc.

I plan on putting one camera on each table. I saw a while back a scavenger hunt type of thing to go with the camera so people know what to take pictures of.

Re: who is putting disposable cameras on the table?
IMO...I would just put one per table. I don't think each table will take 60-70 pictures each and then you'll end up with alot of incomplete cameras.
Also, I heard from others (and correct me if I'm wrong) that you should do the regular kodak cameras. I know they're not as pretty as the wedding cameras but I'm told the wedding cameras are a waste of money. I guess they don't take as good pictures as the regular kodak cameras and you'll end up with alot of bad pictures.
I am thinking of doing cameras myself but I'm doing just one/table and I'm going to do the kodak cameras. I am looking for the poem that I am going to use and I'll post it. I should have it saved somewhere.
Hope this helps.

Re: who is putting disposable cameras on the table?
I would love to put the cameras on tables- but I was just wondering- do you think that anyone takes the camera's? i know its a weird question, but a lot of my family is older and probably never saw this before.

P.S. I VOLENTEERED MYSELF TO GO TO THE TABLES OF A WEDDING WE WENT TO AND SNAP OFF PICS SO THAT THE CAMERAS WOULD GET USED 90% OF THE CAMERAS WERENT TOUCHED.

DavenJess did great ones! They made 4 different ones so you get different pictures.
Re: who is putting disposable cameras on the table?
Here's an alternative to camera's on the table that I was thinking about too. A lot of people will be taking their own pictures, so you can give them a blank disc to save their pictures to and send them to you.
Re: who is putting disposable cameras on the table?
I am not and I'll tell you why. Most of my friends have done this for their weddings and said when they developed all the film, it was a waste of time and money. Most of the pictures were out of focus, or without a flash so you didn't see anything or of really stupid things, like someone's shoe or the floor. They said not to bother becuase it was a waste of money and that plenty of people will send you good pics that they've taken from their real cameras.

I've seen that happen and thats a concern of mine. Which is why I would put a card to go with it, such as the scavenger hunt or the cd asking them to send you their pictures.

Very true. Hmm.. Now i'm leaning toward the CD idea.

I put some cameras on the tables at our e-party, and 2 of them disappeared! And the others were hijacked by few children that were invited and the pics were really REALLY awful. I've decided not to do them for the wedding

ohhhh thats a great idea!!! love this! and its probably cheaper too- even if you put a stamp on the envelope! Another thought is that you could put cards out with an email address for them to send the pictures to also.
