Who is the best florist on Long Island??

I am looking for a florist that is creative and does excellent work- Any reccomendations out there???? I met with Pedestals last night, but I wasn't too happy with my floral coordinator - She didn't really give me what i asked her for. So in your opinon girls, who is the best florist to work with???

I don't know about the BEST on Long Island but for ME the best one for MY wedding was ' A Florid Affair'. That is why I booked them. They come to you and design excatly what you want. Chris and Giovana (the owners ) are very nice and accomadating. They are vendors on here and I LOVED them. Good luck.

wow - you will get a mixed review on this question! We are using Fleurs de Florissima. I am notorious for going for the most expensive options , but I really thought Arlene was very creative. I hear GREAT things about Flowers by Michele. And Sugar Magnolias is great as well. Good luck.

I really liked working with Flowers By Brian. I am going next Saturday to veiw a sample of my centerpiece and to pick my and BM bouquets. My brother used them and so did one of my really good friends (for 4 family weddings). I find them professional and flexible. (PS I looked at Pedalstals and didn't like them at all)

We are using Dalsimer. We just went to see our centerpieces and they came out gorgeous!! They are high but instead of one 'poof' of flowers, it is a sculpture of 3 smaller poofs. I will post a pic when I get home. I am defintely splurging on the flowers, but I didn't want something typical. Good Luck

For our July 4th wedding this year, we used Suzanne who owns Town Florist in Massapequa Park and she did a wonderful job. Her prices were very reasonable and she worked with me to figure out what it was that I wanted. She has many samples of work that she has done and she is more than accomodating. I also used Florissima and they were wonderful. They gave me exactly what I wanted.

I used Flower Michele and was thrilled. Picked them manily for John's enthusiam and creativity - definitely check them out!

Another vote for Fleurs de Florissima. I'm working with Aubert. He really listens, and is very artistic and creative.

I worked with Aubert also. He was wonderful! He gave me everything I asked for. He suggested a few things that I hadn't thought of, and they all worked. All my BM's had same flowers, but they were all different in some way. I don't know if you can see it here though.

Im not using but there is a florist in BROOKLYN that is really creative and actually quite nice. They are Quade Floral Designs in Park Slope. The really try to create an atmosphere with your flowers and design something specifically for your wedding instead of just giving you cookie cutter stuff. Of course - they are really pricey.

I'm a big fan of Designer Florals. Both my FSILs used her as well as my FH's cousin... Sharon is fantastic and a lot of fun to work with!

I used In Full Bloom, and was very very happy. I worked with Marie, who was very creative and had great suggestions. The are a smaller upscale shop, so you can expect more personalized attention.

It depends on what you mean by best. Do you want creative, price, quality, bang for the buck? Also, everyone has a different idea of what 'best' means. I have heard Sugar Magnolias is a wonderful florist- very expensive. I am using Burtons- not the best, but good for the money.
