Who is walking you down the aisle

Well my parents are divorced and cant stand each other.... The why my place is set up I am having my mom walk me down the stairs to my dad and my dad walk me to my FH...What Do u guys think? Trying to have eveyone involved without insulating anyone... What are u guys doing????

You and me both He just turned 13 yestarday so he'll be 14 when he walks me down. My mom doesnt want to be in the spotlight.

that sounds perfect! both parents get that special moment with you, 1 question, after mom walks you down the stairs, will she just walk up the side aisle to her seat at the front?

They stairs are ending right where she would be sitting... my dad would take me all the way around and down the aisle

perfect! that sounds like you have it all planned out, i think that would look really nice, and wouldnt be awkward for your parents

I think that's a great idea too. I would prefer to have my dad walk my down the aisle but my stepmom already assumes she is also walking me down with him so I guess It will be the three of us (I don;t have the heart to tell her I would rather have my dad alone).

I love what you are doing! I am going to have both of my parents walk me down the aisle! My mom is one of my best friends and I just couldn't leave her out of this!

I think thats a great idea... both of your parents get to be a part of the experience!

As for me, my dad is walking me down the aisle. I am an only child though so Im toying with the idea of mom walking me down as well...Im not sure if she will do that though...hmm

I don't really have any living family members so my Brother in Law is going to walk me down the aisle. I was going to walk alone as a statement of independence but I mentioned I was thinking about him and he almost cried. It meant so much to him.

Sadly I will not know until the day of my wedding . Long story but I will not know if my dad is coming until the day of so my back up will be my brother.

My mother is walking me down the aisle. My dad passed away in July.

im having my dad walk me down the aisle alone. im a daddys girl, and my mom and i argue back and forth a lot so i just want my dad. my mom understands and isnt up by it because my dad thinks its his special moment

I think that is great. This way they both get a chance to share in that special moment. It's perfect!!! Love it!

I planned to have my dad walk me down, but now I'm wondering if I could have my mom too...hmm

I had wanted both parents to walk me down the isle but my Mom said no , she said that's a Dad's job on his daughters wedding day.

So yup it's Dad and me!
