Who is walking you down the aisle?

Who is walking you down the aisle?

I plan on having both my grandpa and step-dad walk me down. I'm not in contact with my father anymore, and my step-dad has been a better father than he ever was. And my grandpa has obviously known me since birth, so I thought it would be special to have him.

How did you ladies ask people to walk you down the aisle? Especially if they're not your dad and it's not expected?

My dad is deceased. I don't have step dads nor grandfathers. I am having my 19yr old Nephew.

My Dad. I'm pretty old-school, and so is Dad, and I don't think we would have it any other way. If my Dad weren't around (god forbid, and I'm so grateful he is because so many girls don't have their Dad on the big day) it would be my brother . . . .

Since my dad and grandfather are deceased, I will be having my 8 yr old son and my sisters father in law( who has been like a dad to me for 15+ yrs) walk me down the aisle.... My son is so excited since he wants to also have a special song with me that day too , so we can dance.

I am having both my mom and dad walk my down the aisle. Both of my parents raised me so I feel it is only right to honor them both.

My mom and dad- I am the last of their 4 daughters to get married... my mom cried when i asked her!

i think in jewish tradition your mom and dad walk you down the aisle. my parents are divorced though, so that might be a little awkward. im thinking about just having my dad do it.

My father is not in my life either. My uncle Robert is walking me down the aisle. He's been my father over the years.

I'm Jewish and my parents are divorced but they are both, mom and dad walking me down the aisle. FH's dad passed a few years ago, he is not jewish so just his mom is walking him down the aisle and my stepmom and stepdad are walking down the aisle together.

It's great that my family all gets along...makes it easy/
