My parents are divorced and both are remarried. I'm close to my step dad but NOT my step mother. Since it's tradition my father will walk me down and because I'm VERY close to my mother she will too - one on each side. Then after the ceremony they will leave with their respective partners.

My mom and dad will be walking me down the aisle. I know it's tradition for only the dad, but he'll have his spotlight when he has the father-daughter dance and gives a speech (a short speech!) and for me, my mom and dad raised me equally, so they should both 'give me away' (much as I hate that term...I ain't nobody's property!)

ditto ... even though my parents are also both re-married, only they will be walking me down... their new spouses will not be involved in the wedding itself.

I'm not sure if I'm going to just have my dad, or both. I know my mom would want to also.
