My parents are divorced and both are remarried. I'm close to my step dad but NOT my step mother. Since it's tradition my father will walk me down and because I'm VERY close to my mother she will too - one on each side. Then after the ceremony they will leave with their respective partners.

Glad to see other mom's are walking too! In some cases they are so involved in the wedding planning but the day of they don't get any spotlight!

Well...I really wanted it just to be my dad but my step mom whom is Jewish and been there since I was a baby just assumed she was walking down w/my dad & I. My 'mother' is no longer in the picture so I could totally understand why she would come to this conclusion. Well I would rather stab myself in the heart than to hurt her feelings so I just let it be. It will be a wonderful honor to have her walk w/my father & i.

I was debating on having both parents since i am close to both of them, but I am my dads only little girl (Just me and brother) and this is, what i feel the moment that every father waits for... To walk his little girl down the isle. And I already feel bad enough its not going to be in a church, so I am just going to have my dad.

my dad but now that I see you can have both parents walking you down, maybe I will have both mom and dad? im not sure yet..these are details that haven't hit me yet..

since my parents are not only divorced my dad is deceased Im having my brother walk me down the aisle and going to have my mom give me away (I thought it was nice to have her involved as well)
