I am looking for a Dr in the Setauket, Port Jeff area- do you know of any good ones? I've been to a couple on Belle Meade road but wasn't comfortable with the Dr I saw. Any suggestions?

My doctor isn't in those areas, but I go to a great office. Their in Smithtown and they have the BEST hours. Monday-Thursday from 9-8pm and Friday, from 9-4 Saturday from 9-4 (I think, not sure about that day, but I know their open.
His name is Dr. Roth 100 Maple Ave also NP's Barbara Johnson or Valerie Gray
They are really good too Hope this helps!!

I am also looking for a PCP in this area. I havent been able to find a doc that I like. Right now I am using Doc Selter in Port Jeff.

I use Dr. Selter's group as well. I see Marion Golden, and last time I saw another woman whom I really liked, I go to the Wading River office, and live in Bellport. I use to live around the block from Dr. Selter and his brother use to baby sit us when we were youngin's! Small world.

Dr. Augoustiniatos... aka Dr. A is in Pt Jeff on Hallock Rd and is supposed to be amazing! She is an internist and isnt one of those docs that runs in your room and out in 2 min... she listens to your problem.

I also went on Belle Mead road and I didn't like the one doctor I saw or the office, the receptionists are sooooo lazy over there too.
I'm also interested in Dr's in that area.

I like that, I would like someone to chat with, they are always in and out and so annoying. Where exactly is Hallock Road?
Is the office clean? So many places I have been didn't look sanitary to me.

i've been using henry james best 640 belle terre road - the office staff over there is really useless though - great dr crappy office - was just referred to a dr burmeister 625 belle terre - anyone ever see her? is her office staff ok?

I'm not quite sure about the office location... the actual address is 410 Hallock Ave. Pt Jeff Station.
The ph # is 642-1100.
I havent been to see her yet. I have been meaning to switch to her for a few months now... the FMIL raves and raves about her. I'm sure the office is clean because the FMIL only uses the best. SHe was just really sick and switch around to so many different docs and DR. A was the only one that was able to figure out what was wrong with her!!

I went last week to that office and I saw Dr. Kelly.
OMG he had no personality, I did not like him at all.
The receptionists there are lazy, I don't understand why they have the glass windows closed.
I was coming out and was waiting for one of the receptionists to get off her a** and open the window to help me, she finally decided to notice me but didn't get up and used one of those huge long pencils to open the window. Then I hand her the paper and she was sitting there eating and looking at a jewlery catalog!
I don't ever want to go back there again

I am a nurse across from there at Mather-the 2 other Doc's in that office Dr.Burrmeister and Dr.Green are wonderful though-although i'm not sure if Dr.Jean Green is accepting any new patients but ahe's the best!
