who isn't doing a newlywed chop? *POLL*

who isn't doing a newlywed chop? *POLL*

I'm definitely not.

Those of you who've met me in person (or have me on theif facebook) know my hair is just barely shoulder length. I've been growing it the past year and the process has been really painful.

My hair was the Victoria Beckham super short shoppy angled bob.
It has been a nightmare to get rid of!!

SO I think I stand in the minority here. I'll definitely get a post wedding haircut, but it's really only going to be layers and a side bang.

So who's on Team Keep Your Hair??

I'm on the fence. Up until last week I was 100% getting it the day before we leave on the honeymoon (even made an appointment) but FH keeps asking me to leave it long. I may keep it thru the winter and then cut it in the spring. My hair is just soooo thick that when I have it long it takes FOREVER to blow out... I may not have to worry about it though, I still have about two months until the wedding, I'll probably have pulled out all my hair by then

As a former short hair girl, I think short hair (i.e anything shoulder length and above) is SO MUCH higher maintenance than long hair. Long hair you can throw in a cute bun or pony tail. When my hair was short, if I didn't do it I looked like Something About Mary with my hair sticking up. And yes my hair was that short!! It was like a boy in the back and chin length in the front!

I'm lucky though because FH met me when my hair was short-so he always asks if I'm gonna cut it. If I did decide to go short again it wouldn't be a shocker at all.
Total reversal from everyone else on here.

I know it's not really the same thing, but I am going to color my hair back to its natural color!!!! I have been a light blond for years now, with a brief period of deep brunette..... but I'm dying to go back to my natural hue of dark ash blond. Much less maintenance and damage to the hair cuticle, not to mention less expensive!

I am NEVER cutting my hair.

Well, let me re-phrase. I trim it when needed. I just love long hair. I feel great with it. When my hair is short, I feel weird. It's not me. So, my hair will remain long for a while.

I cut mine shorter every three months or so, but I wouldn't call it a newlywed chop. I hate my hair if its shorter then shoulder length.

it takes forever to grow mine so I'm not cutting it. Since I do highlights I'm constantly cutting trims because I kill my hair. The only thing I keep debating is getting bangs because I miss them.

Don't be sad!! If I didn't have short hair for the past 3 years I probably would be itching to chop too. When I cut my hair short in 2006 I cut off 10 inches!! I loved my short hair for a long time.
I just have role reversal since my hair is already short (well, not anymore).

I'll trim it a little bit because it's at the just a little bit too long stage right now, but I always wear my hair past my shoulders.

I miss my long hair! I cut it short for the first time in my LIFE and I miss my hair! It was all worth it though since I dontated it. Its hair, it will grow back i guess.

I cut mine the day after i got home from the HM......my hairdresser strongly suggested not to cut it until after the summer....she said I could have the perfect beachy waves all summer long. I didnt listen and now I have a short frizzy mess. Next time Im listening to the expert.

Well I'm kinda cutting my hair but I'm not taking much off the length. I am just cutting in more long layers and I am definitely cutting my bangs back in. I miss my bangs so much but I didn't want them for the wedding.
