Those of you who've met me in person (or have me on theif facebook) know my hair is just barely shoulder length. I've been growing it the past year and the process has been really painful.
My hair was the Victoria Beckham super short shoppy angled bob. It has been a nightmare to get rid of!!
SO I think I stand in the minority here. I'll definitely get a post wedding haircut, but it's really only going to be layers and a side bang.
So who's on Team Keep Your Hair??

I did! I cut off a good few inches off my dead asss hair! I couldn't wait!! All that double processed blonde gone!! Now just a few more cuts and all that gross shiz will be off the bottom of my hair!

I really thought about doing the newlywed chop but FH likes my hair long and I have had long hair most of my life. Twice when I was younger I cut it drastically but everytime I did I regreted it shortly after. So I'll just continue to get it trimmed and maybe change up the color.

As a former short hair girl, I think short hair (i.e anything shoulder length and above) is SO MUCH higher maintenance than long hair. Long hair you can throw in a cute bun or pony tail. When my hair was short, if I didn't do it I looked like Something About Mary with my hair sticking up. And yes my hair was that short!! It was like a boy in the back and chin length in the front!
I'm lucky though because FH met me when my hair was short-so he always asks if I'm gonna cut it. If I did decide to go short again it wouldn't be a shocker at all. Total reversal from everyone else on here.
I actually too was a short hair girl practically my whole life! I cut my long hair after 8th grade graduation to a bob, then right before 9th grade to a boy cut. I kept the pixie cut til I was like 22! I started really growing my hair at 22 and at 26 (wedding year!) finally got long hair again! But my hair ends were really unhealthy so I did a newlywed chop as I mentioned earlier. I miss my cute short hair, but as an adult, the long hair works better for me!

i always said i would NEVER do a chop b/c i am a FREAK about my hair being long. i LOVE my long hair, but i also think that it was making me look a little immature. i just cut mine yesterday and its just on my shoulders, but for me that might as well be a shaved head. LOL but with the heat and being prego i can't handle it! and it is giving me headaches b/c its sooo heavy!

I am not cutting my hair- my hair was chopped off a little over a year ago by some hairdresser who just went to town on my hair and it's taken me forever to grow my hair back and I still feel like it's not the way it was!
I am the trype who cries if my hair is too short.

I am letting it grow long for wedding. After, I will take some inches off. But here's the drastic change, I see some greys so right after wedding I am going to dye it. I really want to dye it NOW but want to look like 'me' in wedding pics. I am doing the newlywed drastic color change.

FH prefers my hair longer, so I probably will not cut it. I can go either way, but I really love a new haircut with a new look! I might cut it a little with a different style or something...we'll see...So, I am undecided!

I cant freiking wait for my newlywed chop. Im doing it right before the honeymoon b/c I cant take it anymore!!!! My hair is straight and extremly thick it grows really fast, and ive been growing it for the past year and a half only for the wedding. My coworkers laugh at me b/c everyday I say I hate it and cant wait to chop it all off

You can color your hair to match your natural color if you want to get rid of the grey.

I'm not sure if I want to cut it too much, but i want to do SOMETHING with it. I am so bored of it but I am way too scared to touch it this close to my wedding. Maybe I will do a new color and get layers or something.

I'm definitely on team keep my hair!!! My long curly hair is my trademark now...and FH loves it. He gets all pissy if I even straighten it Not that he's dictating it, but I had shorter hair when I met him, above shoulder length, and while it was a lot curlier then obviously, it really didnt do anything for my face.
I might cut it a little shorter because I'm getting a little too old to have hair all the way down my back, but it will still definitely be considered long by most standards.

I am still on the fence about it...I like the idea of being able to pull it back for work, if I'm running late, it's so easy. If I chop it, it may be a process to style it everyday! My DH wants me to chop it, he loves short hair on women....he's never seen me in short hair, so I may do it for his sake,,,it grows back like weeds anyway!
