We have been living together for 3 1/2 years....it just made more sense for us.

We have lived together for a little ove a year. Before that we were having a long distance relationship from NY to NJ. This just makes more sense and saves us money on gas.

We've been living together for a year and a half now. If anyone is on the fence about it, I highly recommend it. You get all those trivial annoying issues out of the way so that when you get married, you can concentrate on being married.

we don't live together but he is here almost all the time.

I am not sure if he will move in before the wedding or not. We talked about it a few times and it all depends on finances. It would save a ton for him to move in before the wedding since his rent is about the same as my mortgage + coop maintenance fees + parking fees combined. But having lived with an ex for a while (two ex's if you count the 28 day situation during college) I am not trying to live together officially before marriage.

We don't live together, and won't be until after the wedding. My family is very much against it, and it wasn't worth starting any problems over.

But, might I add, that my brother just moved in with his girlfriend of 6 months... double standard much

we've been living together for a few months, and when we get married we will have been living together for a year and a half. I'm really glad we did it, but it's a personal decision for each couple.

. . . and if you can manage it - dont share a bathroom!!!

I have something to look forward to, if we lived together before hand, its like nothing has changed. You just have the title 'husband and wife.' But its a personal decision. I don't live w/him now but I will be soon (before the wedding). We will be closing on a house and we will move in soon. It may be different for us though as we are both 36 years old.

We moved in together in December. We bought a house. I didn't think I wanted to move in together before the wedding but Stephen's lease period went from Nov 30 to Nov. 30... So we are getting married in July. THe leasing company wouldn't let him go monthly until the wedding. He was in NYC. We want to live in L.I. So he could have found an apartment out here and then I could have moved in after the weddding... But I didn't want to move into his place.. I wanted to have 'OUR' place... you know.. Soooo.. We bought a house and now we live together.

I think that 'somthing will change'. we will combine our bank accounts and start planning as a family, and just that feeling of 'being married' will bring a whole new dimension to our relationship.

We hacve been living together since May 15. It has been a learning experience that I am glad we are doing before the wedding.

we live together and its saved us money since he rents out his place and it gave us both some peace of mind about getting married. we were sure, but now we are really sure that even though its hard we really do want this! he can irritate me to death though, and i him!!

We live together now and have since a month or so before he proposed. I am very relieved to say that it has been plain sailing so far. I was concerned because we have both been independent for so long, but I guess we're a good match afterall!

We have been living together officially for about 1.5 years. For about 3 years before that I stayed at his house 5-6 nights a week anyway.

I am glad we did it, we are saving money. There really hasn't been much of a difference otherwise, except trying to manuever in my galley kitchen.

We dont 'exactly' live together right now-he has his own apartment and I stay there usually 3-4 nights a week. My parents are opposed to the living together before married thing-yet both of my brothers did it (double standard again!) and my one brother has done it twice and he has not married either girl!!!!!!!!!!!! We are having an apartment built right now (on his moms house and we are going to buy the house from them in 3 yrs and keep the apartment for them to stay in when they come up from Florida) so when that is done I will start moving my stuff in but I'm trying not to rock the boat before the wedding!

we have lived in a shoebox together for the past 2 years and are very happy. i cannot imagine coming home to a roomate or family - he is the only person i want to see at the end and start of every day.
