We dated for 3 years before getting engaged and lived 30 miles apart....both living with our parents. So as soon as we got egaged the house hunt began, and we moved in in August. Its been truly wonderful, and having not lived to gether for the first 3 years, we truly appreciate every minute.

We dont' 'live together', but he stays at my house every night, gets up early and goes back to his place to shower and all before going to work. Only on the weekends does he shower at my house lol I don't have room for all of his stuff and won't until we move out of NY to have a larger apartment and then buy our first house!!! Can't wait!!!

fw moved in 6 mths after starting dating (not for me but for other reasons )

we have been dateing 5 years, engaged almost 2 and our wedding is 2 mths away

He moved in about 6 mths after we got engaged. It was not our plan but the way it worked out. I'm so glad we did though. It's a lot of adjusting especially when one of you (him in my case) has not lived with someone before.

We moved in together after 3 months of dating and have been living together for over 3 years now, just bought a house and engaged for 1 year 7 months.

I know people who would never move in together before marriage and I support them. But I was in a different situation. There is no way I would marry someone if I didn't live with them first. That's just me thou.

We don't live together, and won't be until after the wedding. My family is very much against it, and it wasn't worth starting any problems over.

But, might I add, that my brother just moved in with his girlfriend of 6 months... double standard much

always a double standard! Never a problem if it's a guy, not fair!!

We got an apartment together 3 months after we started dating and now a year and a half later we bought a condo together and counting the days to the wedding!

We've lived together for almost four years....just bought our first house in April of this year. (a bit backwards...but SO worth it)

Moving into his house right before the wedding... we are both so attached to my apartment (right near a metro, walking distance to the bars and restaurants, closer to where he is currently contracted to work) that we spend our time split b/t both places. IT's going to be adjustment for us both to give up my apt!!!!

yes for 2 1/2 yrs....so worth and yes its a lot of working training them ...he should have it right by our 1 yr wedding anniversary

We 1/2 live with eachother, lol. I still have 1/2 my stuff at my house and 1/2 my stuff at his apartment. I am at 'our' apartment about 1/2 the week. His apartment is just too small for all my stuff and he lives in the apartment downstairs from his parents

We MAY have to go to the big upstairs apartment from his parents until we have enough money for our house, but at least I know its only for a short short short while so I will make it through, lol

I am glad we live together for the most part, it is fun and you get all that out of the way before you get married.
