I think it should be the MOB and the BP has minor responsibilities like supplying decorations or camera for each table.

My mom paid for the bulk of it and my BMs chipped in. They also contributed decorations, game prizes, etc. Then my Grandma paid for the punch, and enjoyed it!!

I think traditionally the bridal party pays for it, but some people's mothers like to pay- how ever etiquette wise (which is totally ignorable) the mother is not supposed ot pay because its like family asking guests to bring presents. But that depends on peoples traditions.

I think it really depends on who is in charge of planning, and how they decide to go about things. Meaning: if she wants to pay for it herself, or get everyone else involved and say this is how much we all have to put in.
