Who pays for the gown?

Can you tell me who is paying for your wedding gown??
and how this came about?
If someone else is paying- did you ask? did they offer?

I am so far... But thinking abou t asking dad to do that since he said he was waiting for me to assign him something instead of just offering himself. My Mom is paying for the RH so Not asking her for anything else unless she offers.

My parent are paying for my gown and all my accessories.(veil, slip, crown,etc)

My parents are buying it for me - they offered as a gift. Then they told FH he's on his own with his tux.

My mom is paying for it. She told me way before I even got engaged that she wanted to do this (im her only daughter so I guess you only get to do this once lol). I most likely will be paying for the veil and accessories.

my parents we're going to..my mom was dead set on it but then they shocked the crap out of me & said they'd pay for the hall!!! so I'd rather them do that! haha Therefor I will & have no prob paying for it... haha

My God Father surprised me and gave me a check for it after I bought it- so he paid for it!

I am paying for mine. My parents dont have alot of money so i never even thought about asking them. My mother purchased my DOJ but as far as the dress shoes and the that goes with that its getting paid for by Me...

My mom paid for it. She wanted to be able to buy me my wedding gown and hopefully create a family heirloom (if I have daughters). She offered.

My godmother paid for mine. She is like a second mother to me and she really wanted to do it since my mom was giving me a lump sum of money to help pay for the wedding opposed to paying for specific things.
