Who planned your...

bachlorette party???

Are you supposed to plan it with your Bridal Party or are they just supposed to do it?

Just Curious?

I think I'll be planning it, but they will probably help me research. When my sister got married I planned everything, but I'm a take charge kind of person....my sis isn't, so I think its better if I just plan it!

My BMs are planning mine - but with my input. I told them what I would like to do, picked the place and day.....and that's it. Any further details (which may be scary) is all in their hands!

I wanted my bach party to be in Philly and none of my friends knew the area so I helped out with locations. But everything else was a complete surprise... the outfits we wore, the gifts they gave me... the lunch they all pitched in to make.

I think it all depends. I didn't want a surprise party since all my friends were coming from different locations and it would be too hard to coordinate.

My 3 best friends did. My MOH is only 19 and party planning is a little to much for her. They asked what I wanted and what I felt like eating and from that planned a very cool night. Beth made up a scavenger hunt and it was sooooo much fun and more personal than an $30 game you buy. They put a lot of thought and energy into it but I did have some say in where we went and what we did.

My sister/MOH basically bounced ideas off of me....and then she insisted we have it in Atlantic City. So from there she did all the planning...21 days til my bachelorette party!

My Sister (MOH) and all my BM's and some of my friends who weren't in the BP.. Everyone pitched in!!!!

I think the BM's and myself will plan mine, only because I told my MOH I wanted my shower to be a surprise and now it is absolutely killing me to have no hand in the planning.

I dont think there is a right or wrong answer to this....I think usually the BP plans it..but if you have some say in it, its fine too.

My bm's came up with the idea of what we should do and they talked together to come up with a date that was good for everybody. I just said 'ok sounds good!'

My girls planned mine. Well, my MOH did most of the work, but in the end, it was the best time ever! But I did have a say in something which was NO icky strippers
