we are getting married at the RH so our photographer told us we would need to see eachother before the ceremony in order to get all the pictures we want. (and i would like to be at my cocktail hour because there will be a mashed potatoe bar!) but FH isnt to happy because he thinks its supersticious to see me before the ceremony.
Same here... seeing right before ceremony to take pics. But we're okay with it NOW. Before, I really wasn't... but most photogs set up the surprise pic anyway... when you first see eachother. Its more common these days and just make a lot of sense. We really want to be apart of our CH.

We might be able to have our RH for 8 hours. So if that is the case, we're going to do the Ceremony first and then have like a wine & cheese thing so people aren't just wandering before the 'real' CH because we absolutely refuse to miss our CH.
However, this is only if we decide to book at that particular venue. Otherwise, idk what we will do.

We might see each other beforehand. My mom doesn't want us to, but neither of us are superstitious. We are not as concerned with missing the cocktail hour, although it would be nice to be a part of it. We want the opportunity to take pictures at a park near our rh. We won't have time to do the pictures at the rh and the park without missing part of the reception.
We have some time to decide though.

we aren't.. our wedding is in the afternoon and the reception is at night.. so we have plenty of time to take photos..
im sure if we were pressed for time we'd see each other beforehand.. i'm not superstitious .. but i do like that the first time i'll see him that day is at the front of the aisle

we are, the ceremony is at 12:30, and we want to be able to go to our cocktail hour by at least 1:30 lol.

We are....Our ceremony doesn't start til 7:30 pm, and we are seeing each other and doing most photos before the ceremony. Our first reveal will still be really special!!

We are!!!! We want to be able to go to the cocktail hour and hang out with everyone. With everything going into this wedding-the planning and money, we don't want to miss any parts of it. I want to be there for as much as possible

We are. I think for most people getting married at the RH especially those having an afternoon wedding, you don't have much of a choice. we would miss a HUGE chunk of our wedding if we decided to take pics after our ceremony.

I go back and forth with this pretty much everyday. I'm also getting married at RH. I am thinking of pushing up the ceremony to 11:30am and having an extra half hour for my cocktail hour (so technically an cocktail hour and a half). In that case, we probably wouldn't attend CH and would take pics after ceremony.
