WHO SAW DURAN DURAN?

WHOA! OMG! It was like 1984 all over again except I had the money to get better seats! I had a few favorite parts of the show at MSG. I LOVED when they made Duran Duran into Japanese anime during 'Careless Memories.' I LOVED RIO at the end. I also thought it was cool how Nick videotaped the band during the introductions.

I thought that the female singer was about to have a wardrobe malfunction - yes I was close enough to see. I wondered why Andy didn't take his glasses off. I thought Roger looked the best though 20 years on a sheep farm would make anyone look that relaxed.

Dandj was sitting two rows ahead of me. It was so cool to meet my very first LIW person. I hope everyone else enjoyed the show!

OMG It was awesome. Inside scoop, they will be at Jones Beach this summer!!!! Woo hoo!!! I had a GREAT time and I am so mad I did not bring my camera because the guy infront of me had a VIDEO CAMERA and taped the whole darn show!!!!

I will always be a Nick Rhodes fan. I love him. But Simon, man he is STILL hot! his body is just INCREDIBLE! And he can move!

I felt like I was 13 ALL over again!!!

After being sick for 3 days w/ 24 hours of morning sickness. It all amazingly disappeared once they got onstage. I danced & screamed throughout the entire show. They were beyond amazing!!! I loved the fact that they all looked like they REALLY appreciated that everyone was there. And that they were back at MSG. Andy was smiling like a kid in a candy store!! My brother & I almost lost it when they sang 'Hold Back the Rain' couldn't believe it. I was thrilled to see Andy Hamilton on sax!! He was the unofficial 6th member back in the day. The back up singer was ALL ready to show they world her boobs! And believe me I didn't want to see that. I didn't take my camera either & was ticked when I saw all the cameras out.

Another cool thing is I bumped into alot of the 'old' Duran crowd I knew back in the day. I haven't seen most of them in about 10 years! It was very cool to see them again!!!

I will so be at Jones Beach if they are there!! As long as they don't play in Oct (the month I'm due)

Goldi/Leslie.... you can definitely come with me anytime... I'm sure I looked like a jerk 2 rows below you...

Did you see the groups of people standing at the side of the stage? More towards the back they weren't the VIP seats were they?

I don't think they were VIP... I hope not for $350 to have to stand the whole show.

The VIP people did very well for themselves. They were in the first few rows and had a lovely dining event complete with alcoholic beverages before hand. My friend's husband surprised her with VIP seats leaving me all alone but at least I got to meet Denise!

I thought the concert was AWESOME!!! I loved the Duran cartoon and it was an awesome show!! Duran Duran was my first concert at MSG 18 years ago!! I screamed my head off last night and felt like CRAP today at work (late night midweek concerts are only for the very young) but had a BLAST!!

So funny, I forgot to post this a while ago, but I'm on the same webpage as Duran Duran! Try to find me.
