I chose my sister. We have always been close growing up and I consider her a best friend and almost like a second mother to me. She is 5 and a half years older than me. We went through a lot when we were kids and she was always there to protect me and take care of me. I was her MOH in her wedding and I can't wait for her to be mine! I just hope she has the time...she has a 3 year old and is trying for another!!!!

I chose my best friend. We've known each other a very, very long time.
I always knew that if I ever got married, I would ask her to be my MOH.
When I asked her, she said a couple of times 'Are you sure?'. And each time I said 'Yes'.

My sister is my MOH. I agree with what alot of the other girls have said on her about it being more than just a sister or cousin thing. It really should be about the person who you want to stand up next to you, a person who wants to help plan your special day and help make sure things go smoothly and wonderful for you. It should be someone who would be thrilled by the honor.
I could have gone in a few different ways I was MOH for two of my BMs and they are my oldest and two of my closest friends who have been there for me for over 20 yrs.However, there really never was a question in my mind. My sister and I are super close and while she is 7 yrs younger than me I feel like she is my best friend. I know she is thrilled to be MOH and she is the perfect one for planning things and organizing events. Anytime I start to freak out she is the one I always go to first b/c she just knows how to put things in perspective.

If I had a sister, I would choose her first. Since I don't, I chose my best friend. If you have a buynch of friends that are close friends, then I would give it to someone that you think might be the one that will help you through this wedding the best.

I have 2 MOH's, who are my sisters. We are all very close, It's hard to choose 1, so I choose both of them. They did the same for their weddings.

If you are having an issue with her talk to her, if the issue persists really think hard about making her a BM instead. As much as I LOVE my MOH she was soo interested in first and as the wedding got closer was so disinterested it was ridiculous...I knew I should have bumped her but I didnt and STILL almost a year later wish that I had.

my prob is that im not really close to any gurls anymore... i love my boys (fh's friends) and wish some could be on my side too...

my moh is my best friend, she is always there for me NO MATTER what, i can go like 2 weeks not talkin to her and pick up right where we left off...its perfect
