Who spent a lot on Invitations?

Who thinks they spent a lot on wedding invitations and where did you get them from? Pics too would be nice?

I spent $1100 on invites and got them from The Writing Place in Stony Brook. I don't have a picture, but will try to find one.

Well i spent more than i thought i would on my invitations. But i am in love with them. These are from her website...my text/font/and monogram is even nicer than these i need to take photos of my own invitations.

i spent $1200 on invites - and my original budget was about $600 but i couldn't find ones i loved... so my mom 'encouraged' me to get the ones i loved for twice the cost!!!

i love them though - and i was very happy with where i ordered them (Have You Heard in Bellmore). No problems - yet!!

mine are going to be purple outside and lavender inside, though.

I bought 110 invites, rsvp cards and informal thank you's for $450 from LaFavorita in Williston Park.
No need for reception cards because the ceremony is at the RH.

Now just need to calculate the postage..........

I think we spent about 2600 on our for 175 these were them!!!! Everyone Died! They loved them

We spent a ton on ours... $1700 for 175, but I love them and get so many compliments, and we got them online and were originally quoted $2400 in a store, so that made me fell a little bit better

You guys are so sweet. I got them at a place called Long Island Wedding Planners. They moved to Commack recently and I am not sure if they are a vendor on here. They had a lot to choose from. I liked working with them! Thanks girls!

I spent about $1200 on 175 5x7 pocketfold invitations with 4 inserts from notfromabox.com.

we spent about $700 for 50 letterpress invitations... I received a lot of compliments on them!

i only spent about $500 for mine, which I think is pretty good, I was so tempted to spend more, but I couln't bring myself to do it...though I have to say, the invitations posted on this thread are absolutely beautiful, I am jealous!! Oh well!!

I like my invites, although I did not spend a lot on them. While I didn't want to go cheap, I would rather use the extra money at the reception, for a food upgrade or addition to the menu.
