Who spent a lot on Invitations?

Original post by nmeandwjh

Who thinks they spent a lot on wedding invitations and where did you get them from? Pics too would be nice?

Re: Who spent a lot on Invitations?

We didn't spend a lot at all- we decided that we would rather put more money into our actual wedding rather than the invitation. I am still trying to figure out how to size down the picture in order to post it- so if this DOES in fact work it won't be a clear picture- but I'll do my best!!

I think i spent alot on my STD annoucements, I ordered 75 of them, and with caligraphy of the envelopes it came to around 450
They are from The envelopement line, they are a 3 layer card stock.

I just purchased my E-party invites, and i only needed 50, and with caligraphy it is going to cost around 500

Here is a pic of the E-party Invites

They are a black linen backing with a crimson red overlay, black thermography with a sheer bow, and also the crimson envelope liner They are from Elite!!!
I cant wait to get them!!

We spent a ton on ours... $1700 for 175, but I love them and get so many compliments, and we got them online and were originally quoted $2400 in a store, so that made me fell a little bit better

Hey you are my INVITATION TWIN Aren't they beautiful

These are really unique. Are these encore invites? I have an encore invite that I am in love with but it was a little on the pricey side. Can you tell me what vendor you found online that gave you such great discount? bonniejd.

TIA

Thank you so much! They are encore invites. I ordered them from www.jbink.com, the woman who runs the company is Joan, we worked over email and on the phone to find the perfect layout, she laid it out about 20 times for me and was great, I highly recommend her- also, no tax which saves a bunch of $$

Wow I had no idea you could order invitations and have it include calligraphy and stamps. Cool!!!

Mine didn't include the stamps/postage (is that one and the same??? I always get that confused!! ) either but I splurged on it anyway. But I did do the calligraphy myself so at least I saved on that!

Here are mine. I really love them, they were featured in Long Island Bride and Groom. (No joke!)

I've tried going to this site but nothing comes up ...I love this invitation...would you mind resending this as a web link? I typed in www.docele.com...it doesn't work.

Nevermind...I see the correction

do you have a tutorial on how to make them by any chance? i love pocketfolds and everyone keeps talking about making their own... i'm very crafty and all about DIY but i havent found a good 'plan of action' on how to make them myself.
