Who spent a lot on Invitations?

Who thinks they spent a lot on wedding invitations and where did you get them from? Pics too would be nice?

They are from docele.com and they range from 15-35 dollars

I went to party city & was thrifty on the invites (under $500 for the whole dog & pony). I splurged on other things.

We went creative on our STD cards & still get stopped & called about them. They were NOT expensive, but had funny baby pics of the 2 of us.

That is just me though: I splurged on other things that others would consider not important. Every girl with a budget (isn't that EVERY GIRL???)has to decide what it important to HER.

PS: OMG I love the ones you girls posted

The best ones I've seen since were 'message in a bottle' ones. It was truly memorable.

I ordered from notfromabox.com and I loooved them, I didn't get them yet otherwise I would show a picture, but we spent about 1100.

Wow you all have gorgeous invitations ~ I wanted pocketfold invitations I loved them then saw the price (FH would have killed me) I spent about $500.00 (FH thought that was too much - he thinks we should have sent out a mass e-mail to everyone he feels there is no need for invitations)

I will try to post my real invitations soon! Camera needs to be charged... they are ivory with mocha writing - this picture does not do them justice - so much prettier in person!

Altogether, we spend about 900 for our pocketfold invitations from mygatsby.com. I'll try to post pics later.

...I didn't get my invites yet but I just had to say I noticed that your mom's name is Vivienne...mine is too. I was wondering if your family is from the islands b/c if is a spelling that most people dont use!

I wish I could, I dont have the time or patience and I feel like I would mess them up if I tried

i spent $1200 on invites - and my original budget was about $600 but i couldn't find ones i loved... so my mom 'encouraged' me to get the ones i loved for twice the cost!!!

i love them though - and i was very happy with where i ordered them (Have You Heard in Bellmore). No problems - yet!!

mine are going to be purple outside and lavender inside, though.


how many did you get? i looked at those same ones and it came to about 600 - they are from Elite right??
