Who stayed home today?

I did, I couldn't pull out of my driveway- my car just kept sliding all over the place so I called in and took a personal day.

I'm feeling guilty about it but, in reality I have no way of getting to work. FH works by me too and his biulding/office is closed.

I just feel strangely guilty about being home.

my school is closed and FH couldnt get out of the house so we are lounging all day together!

I am home in my pjs after sleeping till 11. My FH didn't even try to leave for work!!

I battled the snow and made it to the city. Although they are closing my office at 1! So im excited about that!!

I am a NY City teacher. I called in at 540 am and then the chancellor closed schools at 545 am...duhhhhh

I worked last night, it was already getting bad on the way home, we saw a bunch of accidents. My FH is a teacher and I had law school classes today but last night they announced both his job and my school were closed today so yayy we both got to sleep in and relax!

I'm not working but my classes are cancelled tonight! and FH's school is closed.. so we are home. He's sleeping, I'm wedding planning... What a life!

I get like you and feel guilty.... all the time.

But today i don't. We had a delayed opening... but I just used a vacation day.

If you are using a day... then who can say anything about it? You are paying for the day kwim?

It's nasty out.... and public schools are closed. It's not like it's a light flurry or anything. Just enjoy your day off! relax and have a nice snow day! Why ruin it with guilt? That's what I tell myself anyway.

We got a snow day at work. It pays to have the president be from Florida!

My office was open. I was one of 3 staff members other than like the 4 or 5 attorneys that showed up. They let us go at 2pm though.

I couldn't afford to take a personal day and get swamped with work tomrorow cause I took 1/2 day on Friday to see some photographers.

I stayed home cause i was suppossed to FLY this morning to a work meeting in San Fran- needless to say my flight got cancelled but i got put on another lfight at 5:30- o man i hope the car service can even get to me!
i'm SOOOOOOOOOOOOo gonna be stranded in the airport for hours- this *****

My director called me and told me to stay home. I was only told to call all my clients to cancel my therapy sessions with them.

i was off it is my usual day off, but i felt guilty too. that i should call and make sure everything was ok. however if it was my day to work i know i would have had to be there. and no one would have called to see if i was doing ok.
