We're using the house cake too, it's from Dortoni which is an amazing bakery. I totally don't mind it!
That's where both my parents work!!
OMG they have the best rainbow cookies!

Who takes the Cake
I am pretty sure that I MUST take the cake that Thatched Cottage provides... which I am not thrilled with. It's not that their cakes are bad, it's just that I like having the option to do as I please in the planning of my wedding. ((Can we say control freak?? lol))I am going to ask about the grooms cake. I have a friend who is an incredible baker/artist and I'd really like her to do the groomscake =)

Who takes the Cake
Im actually back and forth on this one. They use Rolling Pin Bakery and their stuff is okay. I want a rainbow cookie cake so im going to sample theirs and see how they do. Im not a huge fan of the detail work they do but we want a very simple fondant cake with ribbon. Im so confused with what to do!

That's awesome that they work there! I LOVE it! Being from Farmingdale, it's definitely our go to bakery..and FH lives in Levittown and lives down the block. Best bakery around!

Who takes the Cake
I'll be using the one East Wind provides, it's included in the price and we're having a mini Viennese so I'm sure there will be something for everyone if some people don't like the cake.
