Who takes the Cake
We are going with the house cake that the venue offers. It comes from the bakery across the street. Butter Cooky! We tried cupcakes after we book just to get an idea and they were delicious! Im sure they will do cakes for weddings not at floral terrace also. HTH!

I am just saving the money and using the cake they give us. I cant see using more of my budget on a cake.

The cake our venue offers us is outsourced to Francesca's Bakery. We met with them, did a tasting and LOVED!

Using the house cake as well. I'm sure it will be satisfying enough, plus I can def use the money I would've used for a cake for something else.

My venue also provides a cake. We got to sample the red velvet cake at our tasting and it was amazing! Even my mom who doesn't like red velvet finished it all! It helps that the owner of Thatched Cottage is a chef! We'll be using their cake.

My venue sends me to The Sweet Peace in Lynbrook for our cake. I know Dortoni's and Mario's are two bakeries that I would trust to do my cake too! HTH!

Who takes the Cake
Our cake is provided in our package from the venue. It's from Francesco's Bakery which is literally 5-10 mins from my sister so we plan on going there to get a cake for Easter to sample it in the meantime.

Who takes the Cake
I'm probably just going to save money and go with the cake offered at my venue. I figure between the wedding cake and viennese hour, everyone will find something they like.

I'm going with house vendor because our cake is included and it's from our favorite bakery! but I will be adding catered cupcakes, cake pops, chocolates and my RH gave us a 'touch of Viennese' which I think will bring it all together. I also really want a cordial/espresso bar!

Re: Who takes the Cake
I'm not going with the house cake. pink cake box in NJ! omg was so yummy. I always wanted a different looking cake, something crazy, not just the norm. so years ago when I randomly saw one of their cakes I saved the website for when I'd eventually be getting married. I pretty much knew the cake I wanted before I picked our hall or anything else.I also liked a few people in nyc but $5000 on a cake was not something I wanted to do.
