Ladies who threw or will be throwing your shower? Was it your mother? your MOH? your BMs?

My MOH (sister) and one of my BMs (best friend) paid for my bridal shower (they preferred not having to confer with my other BMs, so they paid for it all). I was a BM in my best friend's wedding but her MOH (twin sister) and her mother paid for it. I've been in BPs where all BMs contributed as well.
Honestly, it's up to ALL the members of your bridal party to figure out who is going to take the bull by it's horn. Your MOH should technically be the one but if she's slacking or can't afford to do it all, the rest of your BMs should offer to help. They are all BMs bc they are special to you, it's up to them to make sure the RIGHT thing happens for you.

I had three showers.
One was thrown by my mom and older sister and my brothers wife. The other was thrown by my MIL and SIL. The other was thrown by a friend from work.
All of my BMs and my MOH are in grad school, all are out of the area, and none have any money. They all sent my MIL and SIL a nice gift for throwing the shower w/his family, and sent thank you notes to my mom/sis/bro's wife for throwing the shower w/my family.

My mom threw my beautiful shower, but my MOH also helped her out as far as keeping stuff at her place,etc...

My MOH is (FSIL) and FMIL is helping with the coordinating a little bit because FSIL lives upstate

I haven't had my shower yet but, I know that my mom is throwing it with the help but not the financial assistance of the bridal party. I told my mom about the fact that it is traditionally thrown by the bridal party etc. but she said she never heard of that and she would never ask my friends for money for my bridal shower...
i have only been to three bridal showers but they were all the same way.

I know my mom is throwing mine and BM's will help her out. She told me she wanted to do it because her mother threw her hers many moons ago.

My MOH, and our Moms are doing the bulk of the work & paying the most $, but a few BP members are chipping in as well.

I had two showers. The first was a small one thrown by some friends of my mom's. The main shower was thrown by my mom and MOH. The BMs contributed somewhat, but my mom paid for most of the decorations and some of the food, and my FMIL did a lot of the cooking. My MOH has a newborn and todler, so she really couldn't throw a shower on her own. I was dragged into planning some of it, too, although I really thought I should have stayed out of it. Overall, it was a great shower, and to he** with etiquette.
