Who wants to help me with report card comments?

Who wants to help me with report card comments?

So far I have:

Your child is by far the most annoying child I have ever taught. He needs constant attention and cannot handle doing any work by himself. Please spend time with him at home instead of sitting him in front of the TV and ignoring him.

Wouldnt it by nice to write what you really feel?

How about, 'Your child is a good student but an occasional bath would really help out the rest of the class'

I have one...your child is dumb as a brick. Maybe by high school he/she will have a clue

I really wish I could write stuff like that! Or:

Your child has not washed their hair for 2 weeks. Her finger nails have dirt underneath them daily. Please reinforce the concept of basic hygiene so that your child will be able to be comfortable in social situations.

That's great, but maybe a little harsh for Elementary School!!!

Here is one I should have written last year:

Your son is a sweet child who is way behind in his academics. You have not paid attention to my constant notes and phone calls. He has processing issues and needs to be evaluated. Unfortunately, you will not even let him stay for remedial reading classes. This is because it conflicts with your TV schedule. Perhaps you should invest in DVR so that you don't miss Dr. Phil when you have to pick up your son.

Btw it was a true story that she wouldn't let her son stay for remediation because it conflicted with Dr. Phil!

Here is mine:

Name is currently meeting the standards in reading and math. She is struggling to meet the standards in writing. Please use the writer's journal each night. Review the entry with your child and discuss how to improve her writing. In math please allow NAME to apply her knowledge in real world situations also practice counting up and down on a number line. When name is reading, please continue to ask her questions about her reading.

What I want to say is....

WAKE UP AND WORK WITH YOUR CHILD AT HOME!

Unfortunately a lot of them don't. That is the problem I am having. The kids are so immature and starving for attention.

ohhhhh i have one for one of my kids:

your kid is weird...plain weird! he screams out loud during random times of the day..he may even have terrets...one hour he does his work perfectly, the next hour his pencil is more interesting and he enjoys to go to another planet far far away from planet earth and my classroom. In the hallway he rather spin around like a ballerina then EVER get in line the right way and he will also randomly step out of line in the middle of the hallway put his hands to shape like a gun and yell out boom boom boom..i wonder why no one likes your kid..thanks

here's one of mine

I do not know you... and i teach your child every day. you did not come up for meet the teacher night, you stood me up at our appointment, you didn't return my phone call.. and i'm not expecting to see you at parent teacher conferences.. as a matter of fact i will be surprised if i see you before June when u will most likely come up to inquire why your child is being held over and what can you do to prevent it.

or.

it is now november.. do you think you could possibly acquire those items on the school supply list we sent home in June? If not it's okay if maybe you could just send him to school with a new pencil instead of a new pair of sneakers

I had a kid like this last year. He has Asbergers. His parents were in denial.
