Who wants to help me with report card comments?

Original post by jessamyn78

So far I have:

Your child is by far the most annoying child I have ever taught. He needs constant attention and cannot handle doing any work by himself. Please spend time with him at home instead of sitting him in front of the TV and ignoring him.

ohhhhh i have one for one of my kids:

your kid is weird...plain weird! he screams out loud during random times of the day..he may even have terrets...one hour he does his work perfectly, the next hour his pencil is more interesting and he enjoys to go to another planet far far away from planet earth and my classroom. In the hallway he rather spin around like a ballerina then EVER get in line the right way and he will also randomly step out of line in the middle of the hallway put his hands to shape like a gun and yell out boom boom boom..i wonder why no one likes your kid..thanks

I had a kid like this last year. He has Asbergers. His parents were in denial.

yeah his parents are in complete denial that there is anything wrong with him...and ive called about him not completing homeowork and i tried to put the above in the nicest terms possible- she asked me if i had any suggestions, i said check his homework, and planner every night and try to work with him..that might help for starters...the next day he came to school with NO HOMEWORK ...the pyschologist at my school observed him for a few days, called his parents to get him some help and they refused..seriously now arghh

That's terrible. It's so frustrating that these parents don't care!

here's one of mine

I do not know you... and i teach your child every day. you did not come up for meet the teacher night, you stood me up at our appointment, you didn't return my phone call.. and i'm not expecting to see you at parent teacher conferences.. as a matter of fact i will be surprised if i see you before June when u will most likely come up to inquire why your child is being held over and what can you do to prevent it.

or.

it is now november.. do you think you could possibly acquire those items on the school supply list we sent home in June? If not it's okay if maybe you could just send him to school with a new pencil instead of a new pair of sneakers

omg i totally relate to this! how about the last 2 years i taught 5th grade (now im in second) these kids couldnt bring a da mn pencil to school...but come their 'senior prom' yes the 5th grade dance some of them came in limos!!!! please explain why they never had a pencil in school, but they had money to spend on a limo?!?! not to mention that the dance was at the school and almost all of them live walking distance

Dear Parent,
I have come to realize that after teaching your child they are like SAND IN MY BATHING SUIT. They are irritating, annoying and I can never seem to get rid of him/her!!!!!

Sorry to offend you. Most of my family members are teachers, some even administrators, as well as parents and they all feel the same way about their students.

shucks i'm a parent AND an educator and i'm appalled that there are kids like this who may some day wind up in my child's class taking time from her education with their unpreparedness and rude behaviors. all as a result of the lack of proper parental attention at home..

shucks for all teachers do for their kids we should be allowed to claim at least a couple of them on our taxes..

How about:

It's apparent that you've spoiled your child since birth, so since he/she is incapable of thinking for him/herself, I highly recommend that you begin to attend 7th grade classes in order to bring him/her up-to-date. LOL
