I have a m/u trial on Sunday, but I dont really know what I want to look like on the big day.....it's hard to picture since I don't wear the stuff often....
I know I want to look mostly beautiful...but a little sexy (TALL order I know LOL)
I am pretty pale, with dark hair and blue/gray/green eyes...
I'd let the makeup artist decide on what looks best on you. I always thought it's best to give them free reign (within limits of course) since they have the expert eye.
That's why they're called Artists!
So, who's it with babydoll???

well, I tried that approach the last 2 times, and the first one was toooooo clubby...the second was tooo churchy....people usually associate sweet and wholesome with me (it's the cheeks ) so I wanted to kind of have an idea going in so they can take it from there...oh well.
eta: It's a friend of a friend that does m/u for independent films.

Find a look that you want to imitate and take it from there. Check out the make-up thread for ideas. Your face can really do any color, you just need a talented artist.
I love Bobbi Brown's Bridal beauty look!

I suggest that you visit Oksana's website and check out a few 'faces'...she has the interactive before and after pictures...its a great way to get an idea of what looks good on you...

This is one I have been looking in to. It's fresh looking, nice dramatic eye, without going overboard, and the peach is a nice compliment for paler skin (me too).

Clumpy, dramatic lashes, defintely. Focus on the eyes, smokey like.
one thing that is that my eyes are small...my cheeks not so much...I have to be careful with eyeline...anyway, the artist should know that, right???
thanks marymoon!

Yes, the artist will know what looks best and where to place emphasis.
The most important thing people forget when looking at makeup examples is matching up the shape of their face, bone structure, and the shape of their eyes.
