My family was there so I called my best friend and her boyfriend picked up the phone because she wasn't home. I told him to tell her to call me a.s.a.p. I then called my second closest friend. It was worth the six year wait! My fiance's proposal was beautiful and so far one of the best days of my life!

my parents - they already knew....I called them from a cruise ship and spoke to them for like 7 minutes and when we got the bill it was $90! Oh, well.

We were at FH's house so we told his parents first. My parents were overseas at the time so we went to my sisters house and told my 3 sisters second. We had to wait 2 weeks for my parents to come home before we sprung the news on them. FH wanted to be proper and ask for their approval before he made any formal announcement to them (even though I already said yes!)

I called my parents and then a bunch of my friends but we didn't tell anyone else in my family because it was the night before Thanksgiving so I wanted to suprise them the next day. I get chills just thinking about how exciting it was!

I called my parents. Who both answered, they knew. Then my sister. Then all our closest friends. It was so exciting.

My mom. My dad already knew but my mom had no clue my dad didn't tell her b/c he knew she would give it away Then I called my best friend

I tried to call my mom, but she wasn't home, so I called my sister and told her that my niece (who at the time was 5 weeks old) had to come and see her aunt's new piece of jewelry.

I called my parents. They were living in FLA at the time and I had to wait weeks before they could see my ring.

After that we went to FHs family - it was Passover.

Yeah a few days later it was Passover for me too, so we were able to show his extended family the ring. We didn't tell anyone, we just let the news spread.

I honestly dont remember who the FIRST person was..I think it was my best friend...I didnt call my mom and dad because we were driving to see them...I couldnt hold it in on the drive to their house

A good friend of mine.. I flet like I needed to call a friend or two before I was ready to tell my parents LOL....silly I know but I needed to squeal like a little girl.

I didn't call ANYONE!

FH's proposal was late at night in my parents' den, while everyone in the house was asleep.

I tried to wake Mom up to tell her, but she was half asleep and thought I said 'the dog's enraged'.

My best friends didn't answer their cells, so I emailed them.

So boring. I had such a boring proposal
