I tried to call my mom but she didnt answer so then i called my dad. Everyone knew already too so they werent surprised

My parents. They were waiting to hear from us because my FH asked their permission before asking me.

My parents, even though they already knew! They both answered the phone all excited at like midnight. Guess they knew who was calling so late!

WellI was already with my entire immediate family, but I called my MOHs and then went to see my Dad in the hospital so we could tell him. I still dont know if he knew. I hope he did. After that we went to FHs family - it was Passover.

My best friend- my parents and family were there..

We called our friends first, who took us out for drinks immediately. then we called our best man & his partner, then their parents... they are the family of my fiancee's deceased best friend (very sad story...) We got engaged the day before mother's day, so we wanted to announce it when we got together on sunday, so couldn't call anyone the day before in the family

FH called my Dad to ask him (in front of me) while asking me, so I talked to my Dad first, then I called my Mom and then my brother.

He proposed the night before I graduated from college! everyone knew, but he did it at 1 in the morning so i called home, but they were sleeping, i could not sleep that night! lol then i got to show all my friends at graduation then share with my family at my grad party that night!
