Who is the first person you actually developed a friendship with in this site. Friendship meaning you added them to other buddy lists, talked more often, maybe phone, or even in person.

The first person I met on here is my dearest Marni..and we havent stopped talking since!!

I already knew Tammy when I joined so I guess I would have to say that Marcela was my first and Robeymuse was my second

The first person I talked to consistent doesnt post anymore.
The first people I met were Suzanne, Cira, Anna, and JennRenee....It was a lot of fun

My first was of course, shamma, who led me by the hand on this site. She's been a gem ever since.
I've met so many others and made so many good friends since I can't even imagine life w/o my good buddies.
My wedding had it's own LIW table

I havent made friends with anyone cause I don't go to the get togethers..
Everyone on here as been helpful to me at one point or another though..

Kathi was my first friend on here! Her and I meet over 2 years ago on this board and she came out to LI for a day of wedding shopping stuff!! It was so much fun and we have been friends ever since!!

THe first GTG where I met some crazy LIW gals was with Cira, Diane, JennRenee and Suzanne.
Then shortly after that I met Claud, then Bearsbabe, Shamma (and everyone I met at the Papa Joe's GTG)... I have met sooo many of you, youre all GREAT Gals !
Looking forward to meeting more of you !

The first person I started talking to via private e-mail and then met was Mishy626 (Michele) as she was getting married at the same place (Fox Hollow) the night before me. We were even on the same HM cruise and met for drinks withour husbands - and to this day she is one of my closest friends!

The second person I met was Christine1221 at Pre Cana and it turned out not only did we know SO MANY of the same people, but her mother was my 9th grade math teacher! We have so many people in common it is amazing we had never met before!
And through her, at the Papa Joe's GTG, I met the rest of my friends (yes we all know who we are LOL) and I consider myself so lucky to know and be a part of such an amazing group of people!

yes, I met Jennbaby before any
then I met so many girls I have become good friends with!
Marcela and Lauren I met at umbertos! Lauren doesnt post much anymore but we are still good friends, we were fox hollow buddies and our announcement was in newsday the same day! which was funny b/c both our DH are NYPD and now she is my neighbor
then I met merrie and heather who are my neighbors and work neighbors and newest lunch buddies!

at the gtg's I met great girls like shamma, suzanne, Jaimie and marnles and jennrenee just to name a few and I had lunch w/ Theresa who is a sweetheart! and kept me from wandering around midtown! or was it uptown

I think the first person I started a friendship via forum mails was dkga1026 (Demetra) - we got married on the same day (even honeymoon at same spo and hotels!) and found we had quite a few other things in common. We didn't meet until the first NYC GTG.

Then at the NYC GTG, I met a lot of other great girls but I really hit it off with Fletch and Thrilled and we started chatting on a pretty regular basis. At the Papa's Joe's GTG - I met so many more wonderful girls who are so great! I have a little group that goes out together on a pretty regular basis. I am glad to have them in my life!!! (I think you know who you are!!!)

The first I ever 'met' was nycchic_24 (noreen) - we have been online buddies for 2 years, and unbelievably have never met. But still I would trust that girl with ANYTHING!!!!!

I have met some great women through the boards, and just recently had a wonderful time hanging out with Suzanne, Jamie (Swags), Heather and Meredith (KaylasParents).....such a good time with some great ladies!!

And although I've only met Shamma once - I LOVE HER cause I'm abnormal and love people I hardly know!!!!

For me, it was Chippa. Actually she found me through another website because she had just booked the Manor East and wanted to find out who the other bride was who booked there too. They we find out that my DJ (who she wanted to book but could not because I had already booked him) was good friends with her mom. Then after meeting and talking alot, we realized that we have more in common then we thought.

Then while organizing the first NYC GTG, I find out that Octbride03 and I work for the same company (in the same bulding) and we have been talking ever since.

Also, by going to all these GTGs, I have met alot of other wonderful people (all my friends from the first NYC GTG, the girls I took the train with to Papa Joes and of course all my 04 girls)

Long, long time ago there was this girl named Jamelle. We started chatting because we had the same vendors. We became very good friends until she moved to NJ - now it's a long distance friendship (I don't get to see her too much)but I still love her! I also met Ayanna years ago. I don't think either of them post anymore..

I think it was Shamma and Jennbaby because I had no idea how to plan a wedding or what I was doing on the message boards and they sort of welcomed me in...

I have to say though my bride twin, Christine1221 and I chatted up a storm because we got married the same day she has been my rock ever since!

But I struck up a really great friendship with the girls from Table #3 of the LIW GTG! You know who you are!

I have also never 'met' anyone from this site. The first person I do remember 'talking' to first is Marni, but I think we starting sending Private Messages on another wedding website (that shall remain nameless!!). My FH (at the time) lived in the same town as she did.

I also got lots of infor from Erica (Yabbobay) because both went to Spain for our honeymoons.

I would love to go to a get together, but the last few big ones I have had conflicts with. I'll have to see what's up with the 28th everyone is talking about - except I already know I will be unavailable that day because it is my cousins graduation party.
