Who went shopping today?

Who went shopping today?

We went to Target and bought lights and decorations for our house next year We got ornaments, indoor lights, outdoor lights, a tree skirt, and lighted tree for outside and some more stuff too.
We also stopped in Old Navy but the sales weren't that great. A few years ago I went to Old Navy the day after Xmas to exchange a sweater and I ended up getting about 8-10 sweaters for the price of 1 Not that lucky this year.

Did they have alot of stuff left? I went to Target like a week before Xmas and they didn't have any lights left at all.

It was hard to find the lights but they had tons of ornaments & wrapping paper - stuff like that! I went to the one in Setauket.

Re: Who went shopping today?

I did!
I went to Harrow's & got tons of pretty ornaments, lights, etc... for our tree next year.
Also went to Martin Viette & got new Christmas stockings, more ornaments, &beaded garland. Went to Dodds & Eder in Oyster Bay but the line was really outrageous & prices were still high even with the 50% off!!! Then drove to Fortunoff & couldn't even find a parking spot- people were honking & yelling at each other for spots so I figured if this is the chaos OUTSIDE the store, it's going to be a MADHOUSE inside- I said screw it!!!

I went to GAP - got this great jacket/sweater/sweatshirt thingy, normally $68, for under $40 (tax included)!!! I love it, I don't wanna take it off- I should SLEEP IN IT!!

and found this great dooney cosmestics case (normally $85) in macy's for under $40 too!

yes! it came in black/brown (they called it mahogany), winter white, peach...there may have been a pale green one too. I really love it - my winter coat isn't too warm (i need to get one of those too!), so until I find a nice warm winter coat, this will be another layer for me!

Re: Who went shopping today?

My sister made out well at Costco. My family and I went to Costco in Holbrook. My parents told her she is going to get a TV for Hanukkah and now they finally made good on their promise. She got a 20 inch flat screen TV from Phillips. She also got a top. I got the same top too. I believe she got something else but I am not sure what.

I did very well at the Gap. Ann Taylor had some nice sales too but I was too cheap to buy anything there.!!
