who's name goes first?

i know this is a silly question, but i want to make sure everything is uniform--banners, invitations STDs, etc...

from what I have heard,

the bride always goes first

I have been thinking about this for a while! I always thought the man goes first... but then I saw a wedding invitation with the bride first in the monogram...

So I thought before the wedding it would be:
Bride Groom

Then after the wedding I thought everything would switch to:
Groom Bride

I wish I knew for sure! I just always thought that after you get married... it's always the man first. (Even though we all know it's the woman who runs things)

I was thinking about this too!!
I wanted to order a Channa plaque. I was going to hand it in our house after we get married.. Should I still have my name first?

Also there are a few other monogram stuff I was thinking of purchasing that would be displayed as well.

I dont want to hear anyone say something like 'I guess I know who wears the pants in that relationship'.....
