its a HUGE help... FHs mom cant pay for ANYTHING so we'll take whatever we can get from mine and since my parents chipped in for both my bro's weddings they want to do the same for me. im the only girl & baby

We are paying for the entire thing. My mom keeps offering to pay for a few vendors but I am not counting on it. I want to have enough money to pay for everything ourselves. And if our parents want to chip in in the end, that's great.

My mom gave us an amount. She said anything we don't use for the wedding we will get as our present. FH and I are trying to pay as much as we can so that we still have some of her gift left over after the wedding. Looks like we'll wind up paying half of the wedding costs.
FH's parents wedding gift is the honeymoon.

FH husbands parents are on a fixed income. And my mom paid for my dress and everything that goes along with it. Otherwise it's ALLLLL us. And it's stressful, and not something we wanted to do. But under the circumstances, you have to do what you have to do and on top of that, since we can't afford a home, my mom is giving us 10k, to add an extention on to his parents home where we live now, which after the wedding, the deed will be in our name, and we will have a big house with lots of room and an office and bedroom for our new son Blake. Beautiful renovations to come

my parents are paying for: dress, invites, favors and MAYBE flowers ( my mom has hinted)
FILs gave us an engagement dinner and thats all i know about so far. . . i guess the rehearsal dinner? i hope so anyway. . .
we are paying for the rest!
it stinks but i am so proud of how much we have saved so far and i think it will mean a lot more to us bc we had to struggle for it! ( positive thinking! lol)

Yup my FH and I are paying for the whole thing. God and I am headed to grad school which doesnt help with more school loans and paying for a wedding But my mom promised for my wedding she would buy my dress!!

My parents are paying for the reception, flowers, makeup, hair, nails, my dress and any other things that come up.
We're paying for photography, video, our rings, DJ, invitations, STDs, bridal party gifts, honeymoon and favors.
FH's parents are paying for limos, rehearsal dinner and giving my parents some money towards the reception.
I think that covers everything.

FH and I are paying for it, parents are trying to help as much as possible but it isnt much and I am not expecting anything from them...it is our wedding and our responsibility if we want something so big

well I ,me am paying for what ever else my parents can't pay for they picked up the last payment for the reception and my dress and FH parents gave $500.00 for flowers. So all my extra cash and bonus's and tax payments go to MY wedding!! FH is still in College
