Right now.. me mostly.. FH switched careers and we took a big pay cut.. so I am working 2 jobs right now to pay the wedding.. BUT.. My mom is helping us ALOT... she AND my sister told us that if we come up short for the wedding, they will lay out the rest for us.. My dad is paying for my video.. mom, my dress, flowers and whatever else she can try and help with..

Oh, are you wondering what his parents are paying for?? Oh yea.. that's right... NOTHING.. bc they f*cking suck, that's why!!!



Gir! I feel your pain! His family hasn't offered us **** either..

Our guests at the Reception (friends & guests from work)
All church related fees
Limos
Photo/Video
Honeymoon
Flowers (although I am hoping FIL's will !)
BP gifts, etc.
Stationary for STD's, etc. etc.
FH's tux
my 'little things' (shoes, hair, makeup, tiara)


My Mom:
My dress
Her family and her other guests at the Reception.

My dad and step-mom:
DJ
Their family and other guests at the Reception.

FIL's:
Their family and other guests at the Reception
Rehearsal dinner


I am sure I am forgetting things, but most likely whatever I forgot, FH and I will probably be paying for.

my parents are paying for the recieption and my dress and centerpeices FH is paying for limos video phot.. etc..

FH and I are paying for little things, the rest is being split like 70% my parents, 30% his.

My parents are helping us out alot and so are his. FH is also contributing tremendously because how do i say this we have expensive taste

His parents have paid for the reception deposit, photographer and DOC. My parents are paying for 1/2 of the reception cost.

My FI and I paying for the rest ourselves.

My fh is getting the whole bill....poor thing!

My parents paid for my 1st wedding - I would never ask them for more....

fh wants to have the big ny wedding - it's his 1st, and quite honestly, I don't have much left over after I pay my mortgage & take care of the kids....

so it's all him....

my mom did buy my dress, though

My dad and step mom are paying for the photos (except the parent album for my mom and step dad...still bitter after being divorced 21 years), video, and limo. FH's parents said they would give us some money to help out but so far haven't seen anything. My mom and step dad offered to buy my dress but I know they really don't have much to spare so instead she is making my centerpieces since she loves to make things. The rest is all being paid for by us.

FH and I are paying for everything believe me its killer ... i mean we don't do anything cuz we have to pay for the wedding .. i don't complain cuz i know FH would have been happy just going away the 2 of us and getting married .. but i need my daddy to walk me down the aisle ... this only comes once so i am sacrificing everything for the next 7 months ... it will all work out i know it just sux royally right now

my parents can't afford it so gma took up their slack
his great aunt (102 years old) called the other day to say she's sending us some $ (she's a sweet lady and got bucks! so i can't wait to get that check haha it will totally help out alot... but we dont know how much it is yet.)

i wish his parents woudl help out but they are too busy furnishing their 3 houses and buying lots of stuff they dont need (ok fmil not ffil) haha... ugg minivent sorry!
