My parents are paying for our reception and my wedding dress. FH parents are paying for our DJ and flowers and we are paying for everything else. FH's parents don't have daughters so they really wanted to help us out.

Basically, FH and I. Our parents really can't afford it and that's okay.... So, I had to get married in February at a low-cost hall to do it, but that's fine....
We are paying for: Reception All church related fees Limos Band Photo/Video Honeymoon BP gifts, etc. Stationary for STD's, etc. etc. And probably all the other little things that I am forgetting.....
My Parents: My dress and accessories (i.e. veil, shoes, jewelry) Flowers Invitations

My mom bought my wedding dress and any of my wedding day attire. She is also paying for the church
FH parents are giving us 1/2 the money for the honeymoon and paying for the flowers.

Mostly my parents and then the rest we will pay for. im a little upset (i know its selfish) that his parents are not offering to pay for anything when they are not exactly poor

Right now.. me mostly.. FH switched careers and we took a big pay cut.. so I am working 2 jobs right now to pay the wedding.. BUT.. My mom is helping us ALOT... she AND my sister told us that if we come up short for the wedding, they will lay out the rest for us.. My dad is paying for my video.. mom, my dress, flowers and whatever else she can try and help with..
Oh, are you wondering what his parents are paying for?? Oh yea.. that's right... NOTHING.. bc they f*cking suck, that's why!!!

My parents are making my dream wedding come true by paying for our reception. FIL's made it a point at our e-dinner to say the $$ they gave us was just a engagement gift so I don't know what their plan is....other than that..FH & I are paying for everything else.

Right now I am basically paying for it myself Fh is taking care of other things right now. My mom is not helping me at all. I mean not even my gown, my dad said he will help, but has not offered. My sis and I will talk to him in a week of so because I will not be able to pay it all myself. I have gone over my budget
