Im sooooooo stressed right now and dont know what to do. My mom is saying the bridal party should throw it and I want her to.

YEAH it is a SYSTEM kinda funny too because we all basically got engaged a year between
my cousin got married in 02...my one sister in 05 and another sister in 06 and me now
so it is one good thing after the next....

LOL we did that too

well my sister was way early bc she is the oldest she was in 1997
then my brother in 2003
cousin in 2004
other cousin in 2005

then I am 2008 - and we all got married in age order!

you must understand the stress of splitting holidays too and working with everyones inlaws

Typically the mother of the bride throws the shower and the bridesmaid usually take care of the games or prizes given out for the games....As far as I know my mom is paying for mine!

I'd really like something non-extravagant, like at the house w/not everyone on earth invited. I figure that my mom will foot most of the bill, w/my MOH helping. I think my BP will probably only chip in for my gift and maybe make the favors or something like that.

My mom and the BP. There are only 2 girls so the bulk will be my mom. And I'm sure it will be a cold day in H E L L if my FMIL spends a dime on it!

so far, my MOH and mom is helping ... i know that money is tight for my MOH (twin sister) and she wants to throw an amazing party at a great place for me...

i feel really guilty, not that im asking for some extravigant party

i think that it will be my Mom and FMIL

the gifts from the shower are not just for me - they are for FH too - a shower is really for the both of us so I think that FMIL will def be pitching in.....the majority of the gifts are for her son too.....so i dont see why she wouldnt help out - especially since there is no way my Mom could afford the whole thing....

I don't want my girls to go broke for my wedding so I have no clue what's going to happen. The past two weddings I've been in, the BMs have chipped in (which really wasn't that much) and for the other the MOB paid for restaurant and the BMs did everything else.
