Whos paying for bridal shower?????

Im sooooooo stressed right now and dont know what to do. My mom is saying the bridal party should throw it and I want her to.

i grew up outside of NY and our custom has always been that the bridal party throws the party and pays- but my parents are contributing some money and my bridal party will foot the rest of the bill. I doubt it will be that expensive, they are having it at my aunts house & it will be casual with probably 25-50 people.

My mom is going to plan it along with sisters , BP etc but I dont want her to pay for all of it herself

my mom is paying but she is giving my FMIL a hard time...What else is new.
I am ready to say I dont want a shower.

I know my mom is paying for the majority, but my sisters (I have 3) and FMIL and FSIL are helping!
