Is there anyone else out there who is paying for the wedding by themselves?? I mean ME!! as in one single person! I need the support here!

Nope. Sorry, my parents paid for it. DH & I paid for the DJ and the BP gifts and small items here and there for the wedding like reception and ceremony essentials!

You're not alone! There are a few brides-to-be who are paying for the wedding themselves.
FH and I are paying for about 80% of the wedding with the help of our parents. We wanted a big wedding that unfortunately our parents couldn't afford themselves.

We are! My DH family gave us a little .. my family didn't offer anything.. .. maybe we will get some $$ from my family after the wedding. I feel awkard asking my father.. I wouldn't even know how to approach. It is stressful we have to cut back on so much.

We are dividing it into thirds. I seem to be paying for most of our third though (FH is finishing up his Masters)

my parents paid for the RH but DH and i paid for everything else. IL's paid for the RD.

fh and i are paying for the whole thing ourselves. if i had to pay for it all by myself, i don't know what i'd do!! i give you a lot of credit!
but at least now you can have it your way and if anyone tries to give you their 'advice' you don't have to listen to ANYTHING!!

My mom is paying for the RH. His parents are giving us $ so we're using that toward DJ,flowers, etc........ Basically HM is all us. So I am definitely not complaining we're very lucky. More power to you girls doing it on your own.

FH and i are paying for it ourselves...BUT towards the beginning of the paying...it was allllll ME. then he got a better job and made up the gap in spending....so we're pretty even now. but when it was more me...i was stressed alllll the time!
