Is there anyone else out there who is paying for the wedding by themselves?? I mean ME!! as in one single person! I need the support here!

Me and FH are paying. My parents gave us $300 for an e-gift. Does that count? No e-party to raise funds either.

We are paying for most of it ourselves. My dad payed for our photos and video and my dress. The rest is all us. It's been so tough because we just moved out on our own last July and I have yet to find a job in my field that I got my masters in. So now I work a very crappy job with little pay and have my school loans on top of every other bill. We are on a tight budet too and hardly ever get to go out anymore. Trips are out of the question too. I keep telling myself it's worth it.
The only positive thing I found is that when our parents give us any grief over how we are doing things (like taking pictures before the ceremony or having to cut back their guest list), we have the final say since it's our loot.

Although I am very lucky and my dad and step-mom are giving me my dress as my gift.

DH's parents gave us $10,000 for the wedding as their gift to us. that covered about half of our expenses. we managed to save the rest together, but i our money was combined to be our money before the wedding, so we didn't keep track of who paid more.

Hi, We are paying for everything our selfs. It's hard with monthly bills that have to be paid, rent, electric, food, insurance, etc.

Kudos and much credit to you for footing the entire bill solo!!!! I cannot even imagine how you are managing. I am paying half and FH is paying the other half.
Thank you all...seriously... somedays I feel like Im just going to jump. Im under so much scrutiny for putting my masters off while I work very hard to pay for everything myself... no FH...just ME. FH is footing the upcoming living expenses, and I have myself on a 100.00 a week budget for gas and cell bill and weight watchers, and I thought I was going to lose it! I needed this inspiration..so thats alot everyone. I really appreciate it.
I do have to thank my parents tho, as Im living home still, and dad pays my car insurance, and since ive always been in school, they never charged me rent, and they get the necessities from walmart for me lol... so they are a great help!
This is why im posting every 5 minutes looking for help w/ reasonable vendors. I seem to love everyone who was 3k and more, which obviously I juost cant do. My RH is 18K, and she gave us a great deal! I want the wedding of my dreams, and dont care that I have to do it myself... its when everyone is telling me what I do and do not need, and then have the audiciaty to throw the bridezilla word around.
