I just thought it would be interesting to see who is paying for the wedding. Only my mom is helping us with the costs and THank God for her, because she is taking a huge weight off of my shoulders! Now if only the other 3 parents would contribute...then I really would have no problems!!

Fh and I are paying for almost everything! Both of our parents are going to help with some stuff outside of the RH.

Both us and my parents. We are paying for more than 3/4 of the wedding though...but parents are picking up flowers, dress, and band so its a help!!!!!

US-mainly. My mom has offered to pay for my dress and the videographer. Not sure if FH parents are going to contribute towards anything

we paid for everything...but i was 34 & Dh was 41...for me it'd be weird to have my parents pay since i've been financially independent for years.

FH and I are pretting much paying for the whole thing. But both of our parents are helping with different things. And my parents are throwing us an eparty as well, we really do appreciate that they are so willing to help where they can. Unfortunatly the rh falls on our shoulders and sometimes I have nightmares about it LOL
we are paying for most and our parents just paid for the band and photo/video. Of course its a great help but seems so small in the grand scheme of things. I am grateful to have any help at all. It's gonna be hard work for us this year but honestly...although we are on a tight budget right now...it is really rewarding to do it ourselves. We proved to ourselves how we really do both want the same things and how we can really work together and get the things we want.

mostly my parents and then his parents are also pitching in pretty well.. and i'm covering too little bit as well, because i don't want my parents to shell out so much..
i'm very grateful for our parents, especially mine.. our support and backbone..

My parents will generously pay for about 70% and we will pay 30%. Since it will absolutely be the wedding of my dreams I am so so so grateful.

we're paying for all of the wedding...but the DJ my dad chipped in for and the flowers FH's mom.

We are lucky we are getting help from both sets of parents. My parents are paying for the RH, my dress, and some other small details for the day of. FH's parents gave us a set amount of money and we choose to use 3/4 of it towards purchasing a house and the rest for the wedding. It will cover the cost of the band, flowers and limos. Our RD hasn't been decided yet, but FH thinks his parents are going to host it. If not my Mom generously offered her house. Anything else we are paying for.

FH and I are paying for 85% of the wedding ourselves. My dad paid for the flowers, 1/3 of my dress, DJ/String Quartet, and our first class flights to the honeymoon. My In-laws are paying for the rehearsal dinner and they paid for the engagement party. My mom paid for 1/3 of my dress and is helping out with little things. My grandfather is paying to make all the favors. HE has made his own wine for years so he is making us our own wine and bottling it as favors.
